HVO
Classification:
HVO
Product Introduction
HVO is a renewable fuel that converts plant oils, animal fats, or waste oils into hydrocarbon compounds through chemical or biological processes. Unlike traditional ester-based biodiesel, HVO has a chemical structure more similar to petroleum diesel, offering higher energy density and better low-temperature performance.
1. Product Features
(1) High energy density: HVO's energy density is comparable to that of petroleum diesel, making it ideal for high-load engines.
(2) Excellent low temperature performance: low freezing point, suitable for use in cold areas.
(3) Environmental protection: renewable, less carbon dioxide emissions when burned, low sulfur content, reduce air pollution.
(4) Good compatibility: can be used directly or mixed with petroleum diesel, without the need to modify the existing engine.
2. Application areas
(1) Transportation: Used in diesel vehicles such as trucks and buses. As a hybrid fuel, it reduces carbon emissions from traditional diesel.
(2) Industrial fuel: used in generator sets, boilers and other industrial equipment.
(3) Marine fuel: As a low-sulfur marine fuel, it meets the environmental requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). It is used for inland and coastal vessels to reduce water pollution.
(4) Agricultural machinery: used in agricultural machinery such as tractors and harvesters to reduce the carbon footprint of agricultural activities.
